We’re obsessed with stripes. Not sure whether it’s the cool nautical vibe or the Parisian chicness, but I seriously own so many striped tops and I was excited to add this Madewell one to the collection! I headed out for a day of activities (including picking up my mom from the airport:-) in this outfit. I actually feel like my awesome statement necklace made this look super dope! I’m obsessed with both this necklace and my OTK boots.

Her hat’s kinda low, but that’s Vanessa Minnilo (former MTV VJ) rocking some classic Frye Veronica Slouch boots ($328). You really can’t go wrong with a pair of Frye’s. Every chick needs a good, sturdy pair of boots that are also stylish and Frye has been mastering that aesthetic for over 100 years!! The Veronica Slouch’s are actually one of Frye’s newer styles, but it instantly has become a fave among the hip fashionable set.

Early last week it cooled down just enough for us South Floridians to bust out some of our fall gear and rock it with abandon! See, I grew up in northern Virginia and enjoyed experiencing all four seasons, but since I’ve settled in Miami, it’s pretty much summer clothes year round (which some folks love!), but I’ve come to miss crisp, cold air and wearing layers, coats and boots.
