What I’m Wearing: Sweat Shorts Steez

By styleuncut • Jul 14th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

It’s always a possibility that my inner tomboy will come creeping out in any one of my outfits. That’s probably why I’m obsessed with all the menswear out there. These sweat shorts could totally be something that I head outside and play and get dirty in, but the fashionista in me always makes an effort to glam up my tomboy pieces. I paired a striped silk tank, a luxe bag and dope heels to amp up my look. I love the mix of casual and dressy. I’ve always admired the chicks out there who rock sneakers with their skinnies or pair an army jacket over an eyelet dress…

What I’m Wearing: Colored Leopard Steez

By styleuncut • Jun 15th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

Last week was action packed and fun filled for me! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we had a week full of events and activities going on. I rocked this outfit out to dinner Saturday night to the best restaurant ever, Cafe Martorano’s in Fort Lauderdale. I went for a casual yet hip look for the occasion pairing together the infamous J Brand Houlihan’s in dark grey with a pretty purple, pink and black leopard cami, neutral heels and an edgy acid black hobo bag. Loved this look! Plus, this is the first pic to debut my new highlights which I couldn’t be happier with:-)…

What I’m Wearing: Watercolor Steez

By styleuncut • Jun 7th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

Watercolor prints are so artsy and extremely pretty and we instantly fell in love with this dress as soon as we saw it here. The colors are perfect for spring and summer; noticeable without being too bright. The price was amazing too which made this particular purchase an automatic. I’ve worn this dress a few times, but this time around I rocked a blue crossbody bag staying in line with the strong blue hues in the dress and flat brown sandals and a simple gold macho watch. My blue pedicure went perfectly with this look too…

What I’m Wearing: Lace Up Gladiators Steez

By styleuncut • May 25th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

I fell in love with these Celine sandals ($630) that Kate Bosworth rocked not too long ago and I was determined to find a look for less. I came upon these equally gorge Steven for Steve Madden Whiley sandals ($150) while shopping at the mall and I thought they were pretty hot! I snapped them up and wore them promptly the very next day (strangely enough, they’re not available online yet, but they’re def in all the Steve Madden stores). In fact, I’ve rocked these joints numerous times since buying them. For this particular look, I paired them with some light blue ripped skinnies,…

What I’m Wearing: Flirty Skirt Steez

By styleuncut • May 17th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

I’ve had this adorable tie dye skirt for months and I’m just now getting around to wearing it out. It’s funny how you buy something, try it with a few outfits and it doesn’t quite work and then one random day, a look comes together and it ends up being so dope! That’s how I felt yesterday when I tried this skirt on for like the 6th time and ended up pairing it with a loose fitting white button down and awesome peeptoe tie up booties. I loved the result! I rocked this outfit out to lunch with my boyfriend and his mom. Fun times:-) We hit up Houston’s and…

What I’m Wearing: Mother’s Day Steez

By styleuncut • May 10th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

I decided to dress up a little for Mother’s Day this year. Our day was low key and my little guy gave me a homemade bookmark:-), but I still wanted to rock a dope look because it makes me feel good;-) My style in general hasn’t changed much since giving birth to my son 3 years ago. In fact, I think it’s been enhanced. I’d like to think of myself as a young, hip mom. I still rock the latest trends and as long as the outfit doesn’t slow me down from an activity with my son, then it’s certified!…

What I’m Wearing: Fedora Steez

By styleuncut • May 5th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

What I thought was a bad hair day turned out a-okay when I threw on this straw fedora hat. It actually amped up my outfit and was very fitting with the overall vibe of my look. I headed out for the day in what I kinda considered my Rachel Zoe fits. I loved the Rachel Zoe Project reality show and I know I’m not the only one who noticed that the uber stylist pretty much always rocked a pair of flared jeans, a long tunic top, gold jewelry and sky high heels with a classic bag. I loved this look…

What I’m Wearing: Casual Birthday Steez

By styleuncut • Apr 9th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

Yesterday was my birthday and I spent it relaxing all day and in the evening I headed to my boyfriend’s game. I had a lovely dinner the night before and I’ll post that redonk outfit later:-) Anyways, back to my casual birthday steez, I rocked two new amazing pieces!! My Fendi Peekaboo bag which was an awesome gift from my boyfriend and the Christian Louboutin caged booties with snakeskin detail which were a little treat that I got myself:-) I dressed down my luxe pieces with…

What I’m Wearing: Shorts and Tank Steez

By styleuncut • Apr 4th, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

So, my friends up north have told me the weather is finally warming up and I figured it’d be fitting to show my shorts and tank steez. There’s nothing like rocking a pretty and interesting tank, with a good pair of well fitting shorts and some comfy but stylish flats. It’s the perfect summer casual outfit! Flat front shorts are big right now too. They’re a great alternative to our denim shorts because they’re crisper, classier and can be easily dressed up or down.

What I’m Wearing: Hole-y Sweater Steez

By styleuncut • Mar 23rd, 2010 • Category: Feature, What I'm Wearing

This is the best sweater ever! I’m totally in love with its slouchiness and color. I’ve literally worn this joint 3 times within a week of buying it, so you know I’m pressed. This outfit was one of my faves though. For my boyfriend’s basketball game, I paired the sweater with some blue acid wash skinnies, tan booties, a tan bag and silver accessories. Just like my sweater with the cut out sleeves, this hole-y number kept me comfortably cool despite the warmer temps down my way.
